The Art Must Flow!

It's been a while since the last time one of these design blogs went up, and a big part of that has been difficulty with the art process, rather than with the rules process. A new artist has joined to the project, however, and things are moving along once again. The finish line is once again getting closer. But the development and playtesting process has not been idle during this time, and there's a lot more to talk about now. So, these design blogs will once again resume! I have a lot that I'm excited to discuss!
There are several different topics that need to be touched on, and we'll rotate through them as we go to keep things varied. Amongst the topics are additional developments in the core rules of Realm of Runes that came about through additional playtesting. There are a lot of really neat changes that make the RPG rules both more robust, and also make them really easy to generalize to more settings besides the world of Rimukyr, in which the first-party adventures will take place. Many of these changes also serve to further differentiate Realm of Runes from other tabletop RPGs out there, making its own style even more distinct.
Speaking of the world of Rimukyr, parts of that world have gotten more fleshed-out during this time, and I'm excited to talk about that. And speaking of first-party adventures, the first one has had several playtest parties run through it, and I can't wait to introduce and discuss it! There's also more to discuss about the Menagerie and its stable of monsters. Also, there's also two new projects that I'm excited to announce. One is another source book for Realm of Runes that has been blossoming, and the other is something completely different...
Stay tuned for more information as we get this ship back underway!
